Description: Otto Road is scheduled to be rehabilitated beginning on May 10, 2021. Work will include trenching along each side of the road, placing gravel across the entire road width, and crushing and shaping the existing pavement, and paving 30 feet wide with gravel shoulders. Work is expected to take no more than two months.

During the project, the road will be closed to thru traffic. There will be short times when culverts are removed or equipment is blocking the road when access will only be possible from one direction. Other than short periods when work is occurring immediately at a driveway, driveway access will be maintained. Your patience is appreciated as we work to improve these 2.4 miles of road.

Mailboxes will be temporarily removed during this project and placed in each yard. After all work is complete, mailboxes will be reinstalled in the original location. Mail service will be maintained with temporary mailboxes located where required by the Post Master as follows:

• For residents between Fairview Hwy and Kinsel Hwy, mailboxes will be placed at the intersection of Fairview Hwy and Otto Rd
• For residents between Kinsel Hwy and McConnell Hwy, mailboxes will be placed at the East intersection of McConnell Hwy and Otto Rd
• For residents between McConnell Hwy and Vermontville Hwy, mailboxes will be placed at the West intersection of McConnel Hwy and Otto Rd
